Factory reset

I am in the process of trading in my 2015 Macbook Air that runs on MacOS Monterey. I have backed up to TimeMachine and have signed out of iCloud and other Apple-related services. Am I required to do a complete factory reset, or is it ready to be returned now? There is no easy button like on my newer computers that has the erase all content and settings option.
