Downloaded 4k listed movie but looks like downloaded as 720p on Apple TV/Itunes Windows PC

Hello, downloaded a movie from Itunes on Windows pc, it's been listed as 4k dolby vision/atmos and appears as 1080p on Apple tv info menu so its supposed to be 1080p, isnt it? But oddly, resolution seem as 1280x672 both on Itunes info and mediainfo. Though, video bitrate seems 4000kb/s like other 1080p movies :/ Advertised 1080p movie size is 5.95gb but the downloaded one is 5.1gb

Is this a 720p or 1080p movie? Cheers

Windows, Windows 10

Hi abc34,

Please check out this link, which explains how to choose a maximum resolution for videos for playback preferences in iTunes on PC, which may help: Change Playback preferences in iTunes on PC

In the iTunes app  on your PC, use the Playback pane of iTunes preferences to choose how to fade songs in and out, change music sound quality during playback, and more.
To change these preferences, choose Edit > Preferences, then click Playback.

If you want to use the Apple TV app, please also check out the information outlined in this link, which explains the requirements to watch the highest-quality video available: Find movies with 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision, or Dolby Atmos in the Apple TV app

Here's what you need to watch the highest-quality video available

* Video content with a high-quality version that you purchased or rented.
* A device capable of playing high-quality video content:

* See Mac models that support HDR video.
* Refer to the tech specs for your iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV, or your smart TV or streaming device to see if it supports playing 4K, HDR, or Dolby Vision videos.
* On tv.apple.com, you need a compatible device and display that can play the highest quality stream available:

* In Safari on a Mac with the latest version of macOS, compatible content may play in up to 4K HDR.
* In the latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge on a Mac, Windows PC, or Android, compatible content will play in up to 1080p (HD).
* The latest versions of iOS or iPadOSmacOS, or tvOS.
* An Internet connection fast enough to watch high-quality content.

If you buy or rent a movie from the Apple TV app, you can stream it on the device that you bought it on and any of your other devices, as long as you're signed in to all of your devices with the same Apple ID. Learn what to do if you can't stream movies or TV shows. Your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, or Apple TV automatically play the best quality of video available for the device and your Internet connection.

If you purchase or rent a standard definition (SD) video, you can't play higher-quality versions.

Thanks!

Hi Brittany, im afraid those suggestions dont help. The movie is advertised as 4k, meant to be downloaded as 1080p, in the end its downloaded as 720p. I will report this to support team as well. Some other movies have been downloaded as 1080p so there must be something wrong with this particular movie being downloaded.
