How to fix that not all messages I see on my MBP running Sonoma 14.0 and iPhone 11 running 16.7.1 are showing up on my new iPad Air (5th gen) running 16.7.1 ?

How to fix that not all messages I see on my MBP running Sonoma 14.0 and iPhone 11 running 16.7.1 are showing up on my new iPad Air (5th gen) running 16.7.1 ? I have looked at the settings for iCloud on both my iPhone and iPad and both appear to be set up the same.

I will load screen shots from the settings on my iPhone, iPad and MBP to hopefully help solve my problem. Any suggestions, answers, help?

Michelle

Thanks for reaching out to my question. In the end, I did have to call Apple and they walked through the set up with me. There was some small change that I would never have seen based on the directions, etc. The tech person was very nice and helped me clear the problem. I am sorry to say that I don't remember now what the issue was. I SHOULD have come back here right away and shared what it was. Unfortunately, my job was blowing up due to multipole changes across our systems and staying afloat was taking all my energy. I promise to do better next time.

If anyone knows how I can look into my apple account and see if there is a comment from the person after they helped me, I am happy to go there and bring the info back here for any other user who might run into this issue.

Happy New Year!
