Empty gift card why?

I bought 3 $1000 gift cars at the Apple store. Get home check balance and it has $0. There should be a $1000 balance on al 3 gift cards I bought

Contact Apple Support immediately or take the cards back to the Apple Store and provide proof of purchase and your issue. They should fix the issue for you.
