Reset MacBook to factory settings does not work. macOS Sierra aborts installation!

Hello everyone, I wanted to reset my Mac. I had taken over the following scripts:

backed up all files!
logged out of all iCloud, iTunes etc..
erased NVRAM (Option + CMD + P + R pressed at power on).
pressed reinstall mode with CMD + R.
deleted all data from the hard disk. (I suspect I have also made a mistake here. I had two hard drives Macintosh HD and Update) I simply deleted the Update and then the PC went off and started with "recovery internet".
I started to install macOS Sierra. It showed 6 minutes but in reality it takes about 45 minutes.

After the installation is finished I get an error telling me to try again.

I have tried 3 times and always get the same error. Can someone please help me?

Let's see. Let's not go with Sierra (10.12). This is an MBA, 2017, so I would like to say

MacBook Air (13-inch, 2017)

Alright.

The MacOS that is kept safe on your HD for years, probably has past its expiration date (certifatces etc).

Let's turn the computer fully off.

Turn it on again, BUT! immediately press OPTION(ALT) + CMD + R.

This should start "Internet Recovery".

Enter your Wi-Fi password if necessary.

Wait.

Well, glad that you have a backup, bc you already erased the disk, right? Good.

When in recovery - choose: "reinstall MacOS" > this should prompt Monterey, if I am not mistaken.

Then: enjoy a hot bath, or some coffee, this might take a while: you mentioned the clock, stopwatch: it is an estimate - and alon the way; the Mac will re-calculate.

I am being serious, though, watching might lead to pressing buttons, because the screen goes black and the Mac goes silent, don't worry; it does that.

Having seen the images, you are good to go.

Internet recovery, choose Macintosh HD and you're good. If nbot, let me know!

Mount the Drive:

Looking at your first provided screenshot, I see the word "Mount". So, you need to mount your hard drive. But, being greyed out, you may not be able to do that. So, try clicking "mount", and then see what occurs. If you cannot get this to mount, then try running First Aid: How to Repair a Mac Disk with Disk Utility - Apple Support
