Raw + Jpeg management

I have been researching the web and reading everything available to find a way to delete just the Raw in a Raw + Jpeg Photo. I wanna keep the edits I made on the Jpeg in Photos and the Chronology of my photos. Is there a way to do that, it seems not?? Apple can do miracles with technology, I doubt they can't fix a simple problem like this. I see people having this problem since 2015. They can now detect faces of strangers on your photos but you can't delete a Raw file???? It's the base of photography, what are they waiting for to implement this function? It should be a minimum for a photo organizing software. Erase a photo. Did anyone find a viable, easy solution or have any insight at apple? I tried the solution someone offered here but it doesn't work. Photos bring back the Jpeg+Raw file and my edits are gone. Apple is a premium company and should add a basic function like this.

MacBook Air, macOS 13.6
