"iCloud Drive Storage : Why my iCloud Drive keeps increasing in size ? I have basic iCloud plan (5gb) and my iCloud Drive on device shows more than 20 gb. When I see what's there in it it shows only 42mb, but it occupies space on my phone more than 20 gb. Can anyone help me with this ?"

These seems to be some inconsistencies between your iCloud storage services. So, contact Apple Support to get this sorted. Perform a screensharing session with them, so they can see this firsthand, from YOUR perspective. If you have info in there that shouldn't be, then you might be at risk here for loss of data.

iCloud Plan Promotions:

Sometimes, Apple eMails promotions out, for 3 month subscriptions for Apple iCloud. So, view your Purchase history, to see what is shown:
