Fitness app on my iPhone isn’t tracking my steps

My fitness app on my iPhone isn’t tracking my steps, my move goal ring gets completed everyday but it just shows 0 steps. Anyone know how to fix it as it’s only been happening the past two days since I’ve updated my iPhone to the newest version.

I have managed to fix it, for those who have had a similar issue, after the update you have to click onto the health app and agree to let it share data. Then that will link up with the fitness app.

I figured it out on my phone (iPhone 15 ProMax iOS 17.6.1) just now.

Go to Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Devices

Make sure under “Devices” you only have the current device(s) listed. Several of my previous iPhones appeared on the list. If that’s the case for you, select the devices on the list that are no longer in use. Then click “Delete All Data from [Device Name].” Once you do that, refresh the app. Mine immediately showed me all the steps that hadn’t been showing up before.

Hope this helps!
