I carry two iPhones, one personal (13 Pro) and one work (11). Both have been updated to IOS 17.0.3. Each phone already has the contact info of the other. When the phones are held together, NameDrop pops up on both, trying to share the contact info that is already there. How can I make that stop without turning off NameDrop?

You'd need to turn off the feature to stop this from happening by opening the Contacts app, choosing "My Card" at the top > Contact Photo & Post > Name & Photo Sharing > Off. Here's more information on NameDrop too, just in case: Use NameDrop on iPhone to share your contact info - Apple Support

Thanks for the reply, although it's not helpful. I don't want to turn off the feature. Many people carry two phones. I would hope that someone at Apple could figure out how to make the phone recognize that it already has that contact info and doesn't need to share it.
NameDrop Won't Stop
