Downloading an app on my iPad

I am a type 1 diabetic. I give myself insulin injections with each meal. I have a Dexcom G6 device inserted in my abdomen . This device allows my iPhone t tell me my current blood sugar readings at any time. It works great!! I’ve been using my iPad much more these days and I want to down load the Dexcom G6 program on my iPad too. I get this message when I touch the icon on the homepage of my iPad ..”unable to install Dexcom G6. Try again later “. Can I do this??! Can you give me assistance? Thanks Paul

You might want to reach out to Dexcom's support here. From what I see on their website, an iPad is not a compatible device. Only an iPhone is listed.
