Since I updated my iMac to sonoma all my Samsung T5 and T7 hard drives are no longer visible on my desktop. So I cannot access them. When I remove them I get a message to say my hard drive was not disconnected correctly. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem.

Okay, check the Finder settings (Finder - Settings - General tab) to ensure the correct boxes are checked. If they are and the drive still does not show up, then please resort in Safe Mode (this can take up to 5 minutes to restart in Safe Mode) and then restart normally and test.

Yes, you should click Finder at the top of your screen and open Settings. That will display a window where you can click to show your disks. Have you tried that?
