iPad plays back some videos too bright

I noticed, when watching some videos on YouTube or other like sites, sometimes the video would be overtly bright.

I found a solution that worked for me, YMMV

Go to Settings

Accessibility

Display & Text Size

Reduce White Point

Slide the setting to 60%-ish seemed good.

I tried reducing Auto-Brightness,

It didn’t seem to do much but may work for you

iPhone brightness to full level whenever I see a HDR video. It is disturbing! Whenever scroll through tiktok, reels, youtube, and even my own videos. My screen appears on a maximum brightness, even if the brightness was lowered. It has to do with HDR or dolby vision and I haven't yet found the settings to turn this off. Is anyone facing the same issue?

Apple movies are too dark on high definition on ipad pro 2022 I have just recently purchased my iPad pro 11’ 2022 and noticed the movie quality for hd are pretty dark I tried turning on the Bright settings to full is there any other way possible to get it brighter and clear to watch. I tried already resetting the ipad to a factory settings and is still with the issue. Its just the apple tv + app. Youtube or netflix works fine. I have noticed also that when i approach a flashlight to the light sensor on top of the ipad, the video increases its bright, but when i move away the flashlight, the screen comes back to turn dark.
