Apple TV playback error

When I try to watch shows on Apple TV, I can see the recap of the previous season (Invasion, Foundation) and then once the recap finishes and the new episode should start, I get an error message saying “Unable to play.” I’ve tried using AirPlay from my phone to the TV and a similar thing happens - once the recap is over, AirPlay stops.

I think you misunderstood. I'm trying to use the Apple TV app on a TCL Roku TV where it used to work perfectly well. I reset the TV to factory settings and now the Apple TV app won't even start up. It works fine on my phone and computer, but if I try to cast from my phone to the TV to watch, everything stops after the recap. This problem started about a month ago.
