How do you change the name of IMG’s added to notes

"How do you change the name of IMG’s added to notes: Using my iPhone 12 (prior to horrible 17 update) I haven’t been able to figure out how to change the name of a photo/ document after adding it to a new or existing note. Is this something that can be done ?"

Renaming Photos on an iPhone:

You Can't. Renaming photos is not an option of Notes app, as it is not part of the metadata. Perhaps a third-party app would allow for this?

Recommend this to Apple:

Being not an option, recommend this to Apple. Apple won't get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what features to include in iOS versions to come. Apple will know nothing of your ideas if you don't provide them to them.

2. Select: "Feature Request" for the "Feedback Type"
3. Comment: that you want this to be an option and why. Include the URL of this thread.
4. Proceed from there as necess
