Does Time Machine backup all users on my machine

I'm getting ready to trade in my MacBook Air. I'm backing it up using Time Machine. I want to confirm it will backup data for all users? I have profiles for my kids on my machine and want to be able to restore their data on the new machine using migration from Time Machine. Thanks!
