Set a Bluetooth accessory to stay connected when the Bluetooth icon in the control center is clicked

When you click the Bluetooth icon in the control center, it disconnects all accessories from your iPhone (except for Apple Watches and a few others) until the next day.

Unfortunately, this also disconnects a Bluetooth humidity sensor in my crawlspace.

is there any way to set up an accessory to stay connected when the control panel Bluetooth icon is clicked, like an Apple Watch does?
