Hello Edna130,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. We want to help get your calendars syncing properly across your devices. Allow us to assist. Let's go ahead and follow the recommended steps listed here: If your iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders won’t sync - Apple Support

Things to check first
1. Check the system status of iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders for services outages or connection issues.
2. If a reminder isn't showing up on some of your devices, make sure that your iPhone and iPad have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS, or that your Mac has the latest version of macOS.
3. Make sure that you're signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID on all of your devices. Then, check that you turned on Contacts, Calendars, and Reminders in your iCloud settings.
4. Check that the date and time settings on your device are correct for your current location.
5. If you use iCloud for Windows to sync your Contacts and Calendar with Outlook on your PC, make sure that you've updated to the latest version of Windows. Then follow these steps to sign out and sign back in again

Restart the Contacts, Calendar, or Reminders app
1. Close the app.
2. Return to your Home Screen.
3. Wait about one minute, then open the app again.
Refresh your contacts and calendars
To refresh your contacts, open the Contacts app and swipe down on the list. To refresh your contact groups, tap Lists in the upper-left corner, then swipe down on the list.
To refresh your calendars:
1. Open the Calendar app.
2. Tap the Calendars tab.
3. Swipe down on the list to refresh your events.

There are additional steps in the resource we shared. Please be sure to follow all of them. They might be able to get this issue sorted out.

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. Take care.

Hey Edna130,

That's a great question! Checking the minimum requirements for iCloud Calendar, you need at least OS X El Capitan 10.11 and iOS 9 installed. Since you have macOS Sierra 10.12 on your Mac and assuming iOS 12 installed on your iPhone, you do meet the requirements. Those details and more can be found here: System requirements for iCloud - Apple Support

Be sure to complete the steps provided earlier to see if they help to resolve the issue you're having with iCloud Calendars not syncing.

Keep us posted.

Take care!
