I never synced my Ipad photos in iCloud before and they are locally stored in my ipad.
Now, the photos in my Ipad suddenly replaced by my iCloud photos and those photos/videos originally stored locally in my ipad are ALL gone!
How do I retrieve it?

Are you talking about photos taken with your iPad camera, photos imported from an external camera or card, or photos synced by wire from a Mac or PC? Of those types, the first two should have been merged with your iCloud library, but the third kind are incompatible with iCloud Library and should be removed when iCloud Library is enabled (after a warning about that fact). The photos might still be on the Mac or PC where they originated.
