Can I find my air pods if they were stolen and connected to a new phone

My air pod pros were taken out of my locker during a football game and all it tells me is the last location and when I go there and try and use the sound thing or search thing they can’t connect it find a signal

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 17

The support article Find your lost AirPods with Find My outlines the best steps and options for trying to locate missing AirPods with Find My. If you are not able to find them, these instructions would apply:

"If you can't find your AirPods

In Find My, choose your AirPods and swipe up.
Under Mark as Lost, tap Activate.
Follow the onscreen steps to display your contact information to someone who finds your AirPods.
Select Activate."
