Printer driver update for Canon MP560 not available for Sonoma OS

I have searched every forum online but it seems that Canon may no longer support its trusty old MP560 to have updated drivers for new computers or Mac OS. Does anyone know of a way around this issue so that I can use my printer again? Thanks.

https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-mp560 says: "PIXMA MP560 has been retired. Product support is no longer available. Driver and content updates are not being made."

This printer apparently dates from 2009.

These threads suggest that Canon might give you the opportunity to purchase a new printer directly from Canon at a discount.
