Just got an iPhone 14 and plugged it into my old MacBook mid 2010 running high sierra and iTunes won’t recognize it. Phone charges and iPhotos recognizes it to upload. But nothing with iTunes.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13
If the iPhone has iOS 17, it may require a newer version of iTunes/Music in order to sync. If that is then case, I don't know of any work-arounds.
