Multi-track recording working in GarageBand but not Logic Pro X

I have configured multi-track recording that is working in GarageBand but not in Logic Pro X. In Logic Pro X no matter what inputs I select for a track it will record all inputs. In GarageBand only the input selected for the track will record which is correct. I have each track configured the same in both applications but the results are different. I was previously able to properly record multi-track with Logic Pro but it just recently stopped working. I've tried both my Rode Podcaster Pro2 and a virtual device using Rogue Amoeba Loopback as input devices to both application. I can get GarageBand to multi-track record from both inputs and Logic Pro X fails in the same way (recording all inputs no matter what input is selected for a track) for both inputs.

Anyone seen anything like this?
