MacBook Air M1:


  1. How do I use a Split screen to work with a PDF, annotate the pdf on the pdf , or annotate in a Pages on the split screen?
  2. How do I cut and paste from the PDF to Pages in order to save quotes from the original document? .
  3. I have downloaded OUTLINES as a way to store information but don't know how to use it.
  4. So...What is the best way to read, comment, save comments, copy and paste sections of original text to a Pages document on a split screen? Then to create hierarchies of topics.

If you are talking about the Outline app, you need to consult whatever info is provided by the people who make it.

For working with pdf's, you may want to check out Adobe Reader, which often has more advanced features than Preview.
