Delete iPhone Music Library

Almost everything in my Mac Apple Music library is my own CDs, (mostly rather elderly recordings, by the standard of CDs), and much of the information was incomplete, erroneous or at best in different formats. Having spent some time completing and rationalizing it, I'd now like to delete the entire equivalent library on my phone, so that when I sync from my Mac it matches exactly and nothing comes back or is retained in multiple versions with slightly different data. How can I do that, if it is possible? (the relevant Mac is an Intel iMac running Monterey; iPhone is a 13 mini on iOS 17).

Your help will be greatly appreciated.
