Is it possible that my iPhone camera has been hacked?

Hello!

Can your camera get hacked without Access to your ICloud?

Or they should access to you Icloud first.

and they could hack your camera If they know your passcode?

because I think I entered some personal information on a fake pop ups on safari in the past.

and thank you

This is just touching on everything that everybody’s talking about but I have a question. My phone is being forwarded to a number. I don’t recognize. I looked it up. It’s definitely a hacker. how do I hack him back in another thing? Has anybody ever chatted with Apple support verified on through their Settings app now I’m paranoid.

Your camera can't get "hacked."

If you accidentally give a website camera or microphone permission, you can navigate into Settings > Safari > Camera or Microphone, and see if any websites you're unfamiliar with are listed there.

You can also be aware of when the camera or microphone is being used as a green or orange dot indicator will appear in the upper part of your display.

Did you, by any chance, get a message from someone, claiming that your iPhone camera had been "hacked", and that they had recorded you doing things that you wouldn't want your family or community knowing about?

Messages with these types of claims are a common feature of sextortion "phishing" scams.

I've seen examples in other threads on these forums, where the message that the criminal sent claimed that they were "some kind of god" who ought to expose the victim to the community to do a "public service" but who was willing to be "merciful" … if the victim forked over the extortion payment.

All a vicious pack of lies, sent by a criminal who had no ability to hack the victim, no idea what the victim was (or wasn't) doing, but figured that if they spammed enough victims, some would panic and become prey.
