MaestroAlex,
Thanks for confirming.
If it's a Gmail account, you're safe to delete the account and then re-add it. This doesn't delete your emails from other devices, it just removes them from this device and redownloads them. Generally this will address most sync issues.
If the issue persists after this, try starting your Mac up in safe mode and run the same test. Delete an email and see if it is reflected on your other devices.
If it works properly in safe mode, restart your Mac to exit safe mode and test again.
Let us know the results from there.
Cheers!

Hey MaestroAlex,
To clarify, are you unable to send emails, receive emails, or both on your Mac? For example if you send an email to yourself, does it come through? If not, we'd advise you start with the relevant resource here:
Also, is this an iCloud or a third-party account? Let us know and we'll follow up from there.
Cheers!
Hi MaestroAlex,
We may still need a few more details. Are you using an iCloud Mail account? If so, see if these steps help: If iCloud Mail isn't working
If you need more help, reply with the answers to these questions:

Hey DerekM87
I can send and receive emails on my Mac. I also receive the same emails on my iPhone and iPad. The problem is that if I amend, save, delete or anything else on my Mac, the changes are not made on my iPhone or iPad. Conversely, if I make the change on my iPhone or my iPad, the change is also made on my Mac. In other words, Sync seems to work from iPhone/Pad to Mac, but not from Mac to iPhone/IPad.

I do have an ICloud Mail account and it is working perfectly. It's my Gmail account that screws up.
By changes, I mean if I get an email on my Gmail account, and delete it on my Mac, it deletes it on all of my devices, as it should. If I delete it on my iPhone/IPad, it will not delete on my Mac, and it should. If mark the email as read on my Mac, it is not marked as read on my other devices. If I mark it as read on the other devices, it is not marked as read on my Mac. Etc.

Your instructions hit the nail on the head. The only thing I did different was after I deleted the Gmail account, I shut down my computer for about 5 minutes. After restarting, I added back the Gmail account and began downloading the 46K messages back to the application! The sync problem is solved (I have tested all of my devices and they sync correctly with any change in an email).
Thank you.
DerekM87,
In answer to your second question, I am talking about a Gmail email account. My ICloud email account works just fine - no problems.
Hey there MaestroAlex,
That's great news. Thank you for taking the time to keep the community updated.
Have a good one!
