shazam doesn't work on iphone 15 pro with current IOS

I have the microphone turned on for Shazam. I have deleted the app and downloaded a fresh version. I've tried using it with only Wifi, and with only Cellular. Nothing works. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shazam has continued to misbehave on my iPhone 15 Pro when launching the app. But when I added it to the Control Center, and Shazam from there, it works every time. This makes no sense to me, but I'll still call it good enough.

Let's try disconnecting the hearing aid and testing without them. This will help us further isolate the issue.


These steps will guide you:


"Unpair your hearing device

When you unpair your hearing device from your Apple device, it disconnects and will not reconnect to your Apple device until you pair it again.

  • iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > Accessibility > Hearing Devices. Tap the name of your hearing device, then scroll down and tap “Forget this device.”
  • Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click Accessibility in the sidebar, then click Hearing Devices on the right. Scroll down and tap “Forget this device.”"

Let's also test with multiple songs to verify it's not just a single song it can't identify.

Not much to say. I try to identify a tune and it doesn't work. Thinks for a while and progresses thru" Searching" "Expanding Search" then "this is tough" "No results". 100% of the time. I have hearing aids sync'd to the iPhone and their microphone is on. However, I had the same setup with my iPhone 13 with zero issues. Below is the latest diagnostic report:
