Headphone audio cuts out
First, I'm using an iPhone X with iOS 16.7.1, NOT an iPad as the text below the message suggests.
For almost a year now (since December 25, 2022), and with 3 sets of Apple wired Earbuds and with 2 different Lightning connectors, whenever I have used the camera or been on a call while keeping my earbuds plugged in, the audio of the Apple Music I'm listening to cuts out at random intervals. (This has not happened with my Mac or any other audio app or with any other earbuds/headphones.) The other signs are always the same: the response when I raise or lower the volume is always delayed by about 5 seconds, and it's the same with pausing. And worst of all, every few seconds it will go completely silent before returning, making for a horrible listening experience. I have been able to determine it is the phone, not the earbuds or lightning adapters, causing the problem. I called a representative about 6 months ago about this and they said to factory reset the phone and log back in. I did so but the problem still persists. I called another person and they said a representative would call me back at 11 PM, but that call never came. The only thing that works for fixing this is unplugging the earbuds and plugging them back in, but it's incredibly annoying to have to do so. What do I do to fix my phone?
