I already did the reset thing, already plug them both to see if it updates. Nothing happens. Calls on FaceTime sound awful and super low and people keep telling me that I sound muffled.
I'm stuck at the firmware version 5B58.
How can I resolve this?

AirPods updates cannot be punched and updated manually. They update the next time they sync to a device that itself is connected to the internet. This is because they do not have their own IP address. So, connect them to your iPhone, and let all be for few moments. It will sync itself, sure enough.
