Broken headphone jack on iPad

The very bottom of my headphones broke off and the jack got stuck. I managed to pull a small part off but now the bottom end of it is stuck and won’t come out.

If the 3.5mm plug has broken - and it currently retained within the iPad's 3.5mm jack, you would be best advised to entrust its removal to Apple's technicians at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP):

Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

Apple's technicians have both the tools and expertise to safely remove the broken plug without damaging your iPad - or risking loss of warranty.
