watch doesn’t get locked when removed from my wrist. The wrist detection option is on. The option for passcode, change passwode, simple passcode and erase data is also hidden. While linking the device, passcode was set.

In your iPhone, Settings, Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions, you probably have passcode changes or account changes disallowed.
If you don't rely on Screen Time, turn it off completely.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I figured that was the issue. But even after changing in screen time, the same is not getting updated in the watch. I will try pairing after the changes once more. Thanks
