Why am I forced to use icloud to sync reminders?

Why are we forced to use iCloud to sync reminders?

I sync USB hardwired never cloud. OG nerd. I will never use iCloud even if you pay me 1 million!

This is such a simple task yet it seams like I have to write my own software to force the reminders to sync manually?

This is 1 of the reasons i kicked MS office to curb… The old PALM software is better than what is offered today as a business owner. TRUE STATEMENT even the voice recognition is better than Siri is today.

XP is still best software to date. I cannot use any of my old software that I used for building.

So i kicked Microsoft to curb.

It almost seems time for a new operating systems if this continues.

My email server does not offer reminder sync currently. I should be able to sync reminders if I plug hardwire into my mini mac from iPhone to mini mac and vise versa

Every time i get update, iCloud wants to access my phone. Not a chance. Just like same reason there is never a need to pay ransomware money. only morons pay ransomware.

Please help sync reminders without being forced to use iCloud

Thank You your desperate nerd

I suggest using a third party Reminders app. There are many to choose from. I assume you have iCloud shut off for Reminders at  > System Settings > [name on top] > iCloud, and then clicking Show All to see if Reminders is turned on?

App data from third party apps are synced to computer when the developer stores the data in the appropriate folder.
