I cant make stickers from my camera roll!

Hi! I can't make stickers from my photos (where you have a photo and hold down to copy it). My iphone is updated to IOS 16.7.1, all my friends are able to do it with the same IOS. I need help! Any tips?

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

For as far as I know this is an iOS 17 feature, the iPhone 8 cannot run iOS 17 hence why you don't have that feature

My friend has IOS 16 and she is still able to do it. I looked it up and it said Iphone 8 plus can run on IOS 17 but that may not be true.
