Apple ID incorrect under family sharing

Why is my apple ID showing my correct info, but if I set up family sharing, it shows a different (a contact) name as organizer?

Can't add to Family Sharing after deleting child IDs I recently added my two kids (under 13) in family sharing, giving them each apple ID's, which then brought my total number of family members to six, the max allowed. After realizing this was not the way go about what I initially intended, I deleted both child accounts through Apple's data and privacy page. After receiving confirming emails both apple ID's were deleted (a week and a half ago). This brought my total family members back down to four, but I still cannot add a new family member using the same process. The "add family member" button is "grayed" out. Why is this happening? Is there a longer waiting period? And when/how can I add new family members to family sharing? Thanks for the help.

can another person change the apple id on the main phone when you set up family share can the other person change the id on another phone

And that contact is not the family organizer? That's weird. Try and reset your apple id password to be sure
