is it safe to delete a folder in CloudDocs

Before deleting anything inside that folder, copy/move whatever important to an external disk.

If you are quite sure that they are duplicates, and the originals are safe somewhere else, you can surely delete the duplicates. Double checking is always best.

The correct path would be

~/Library/Application Support/CloudDocs/

this is your user Library— here you have r/w access

If you think you have an problem, sure delete the folder and see if any issues arise or you lose access to something you wish you had back...

report what you find out.

I'm running into the same issue and want to delete this massive "i" folder. what was your outcome? did you delete the files? was everything okay?
