Reflection session ends too fast

Steps: Start Reflect session from the Mindfulness app. Meditate until the session ends.

Expected: I take my own time to come back and read the tips at the end of the session in my own pace.

Actual: I catch only a glimpse of the ending tips when I open my eyes. I barely catch the main idea of the sentence when the heart rate and other statistics are thrown to my face.

How can I change this behavior so that I can move from the ending tips to statistics at my own pace, at the tap of the screen? If this is not possible should I send feedback to Apple?

Hi http_teapot,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! The available setting options for Mindfulness are as follows:

  • "Set mindfulness reminders: Below Reminders, turn Start of Day and End of Day on or off; tap Add Reminder to create additional reminders.
  • Get or stop a weekly summary: Turn Weekly Summary on or off.
  • Mute mindfulness reminders: Turn on “Mute for today.”
  • Change your breathing rate: Tap Breath Rate to change the number of breaths per minute.
  • Choose haptics settings: Tap Haptics, then choose None, Minimal, or Prominent.
  • Get new meditations: Turn on Add New Meditations to Watch to download new meditations when your Apple Watch is connected to power. Meditations you’ve completed are deleted automatically."

Find this information in the article Use Apple Watch to practice mindfulness. Since there's not an option to make an adjustment to that particular feature, we suggest submitting feedback here: Product Feedback.

Cheers!
