Permanently deleting old Calendar autocorrect suggestions

I have seen and tried previous suggestions as to how to delete old Calendar autocorrect suggestions but the tip didn’t work. I have autocorrect suggestions popping up from 2014 that when I tried what has been suggested in the past nothing happened. Is there a different way to permanently delete very old Calendar autocorrect suggestions than what has previously appeared in this forum?

Hi DocBee612,

We can't speak for previous posts as the Apple Support Community is a vast forum that spans decades, but if Calendar is suggesting event information based on old events, you may find some relief from reducing the sync duration for calendars in Settings if you are using an iPhone. Calendar is making suggestions based on historical events, and this will remove old events that may be contributing to the issue.

  • You can do this at Settings > Calendar > Sync.

Auto-Correction and Predictive text are Keyboard functions that govern all of your Apple apps and programs. You can try either disabling these features to test or just reset your personal Keyboard dictionary altogether. You'll find details for both options in these articles:

Regards.
