Is the heating problem on the iPhone 15 series resolved?
I would like to purchase 15pro but every one saying go for 14pro don't buy 15pro. Got bit confused.

iOS 17.0.3 is said to have fixed the overheating problems.
From iOS 17.0.3 changelog:
This update provides important bug fixes, security updates, and addresses an issue that may cause iPhone to run warmer than expected.

Not yet, as of this thread. I have seen reports on these forums of iOS17.1 having made no difference. On my iPhone, I still have iOS16 installed. I have no intend on updating to iOS17 until it is officially fixed. A post, just prior to yours: I just update my iPhone 15 and it gets too hot what I need to do - Apple Community
NOTE:
Downgrading the iOS:
Unfortunately, the iOS cannot be downgraded to a lower version. So, you only option, when it comes to restoring from an iPhone backup, is to restore from on that is of the same iOS version.
