Hi iysis211,
The speed of the transfer is dependent on the amount of data. If you have a sufficiently large amount of photos and videos, this process can to hours, regardless of the method chosen to transfer.
Very often, however, the simplest and quickest way to transfer your data to your new device is to use Quick Start during setup:
Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad
