What is going on with heart rate in 10.x?

What on earth did Apple do to the heart rate complications in 10.x? In 10.0:

  1. It stopped updating regularly. At times it's 45min—or more—ago, even though my phone has current readings every 4 or 5 minutes.
  2. The formatting changed, removing white space between the rate and BPM. Do you know how hard it is to read a 3 or 8 next to a B? 83BPM vs 83 BPM?
  3. When it's a fresh reading, it says "IN 0 MINUTES". What does that mean??? It used to say "NOW". It's like it was merged with a calendar appointment team's work.

Now in 10.x it's just...gone. I'm using Activity Analog with Heart Rate in the bottom. If I swap complications they show immediately. Back to Heart Rate and...nothing.

All the examples in the watch face gallery show it should be there, but the examples say "75BPM, IN 2,576 DAYS". Again: What does that even mean??? How did that go out the door?

On the topic of the Heart Rate app: not everyone's using this for fitness. I've had pericarditis since the summer. I'm keeping an eye on my heart rate at rest. 10.x changed the Heart Rate app to this bright red pulsing heart with red waves radiating out, which is alarming if your heart's racing and you're wanting it to go down.

The Sleep app on the watch now has gradients in the background and is more crowded too.

10.x broke, or made less clear, a lot of stuff I was relying on for my health.

As the manufacturer of the product I spent money on, I'd appreciate it if you would do the work of translating this into feedback, instead of assigning me, the paying customer, more work to do.

Do better, Apple. You charge a premium for this stuff, and this is not a premium experience.
