When I try to delete the software update from my storage, it doesn’t delete after pressing delete multiple times. What can I do to actually delete it?

I want to update to iOS 17, but every time I do it says can not verify update, or that my device has disconnected from the internet (Even though it never disconnects). I saw that deleting the old software update could help redownload and get new update but it will not let me delete the software update from storage.

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Try restarting the iPhone: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support (deletes temporary files, renews connections etc.)

Then, if needed, try again to delete the old software update from Storage.

It might be wise to use a computer for the update (iOS 17.1 is now available) is possible.
