Why did my refund get approved, and refunded then recharged? Subscription was canceled and app deleted.

A subscription was canceled, but Apple still took payment. I requested a refund, and it was approved. However I checked my account this morning and the amount had been refunded, and then charged again. I double checked that the subscription is canceled (which it is) and I had deleted the app. Why did Apple charge me again?
