My new iPad Air is stuck on the "Setting Up Your Apple ID…" screen in setup

Got a new iPad, went through set up with my iPhone, now it has stayed in "setting up your Apple ID." I tried holding in the top button.

Try to force restart the iPad:

Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
Press and hold the top button.
When the Apple logo appears, release the top button. This can take up to 20 seconds.

This procedure can be tricky. Do not hesitate to repeat it.
