Google Drive for Desktop cannot stop "Loading your Files"

Due to some syncing issues i had, i had to uninstall Google Drive for Desktop.

After i reinstall it though, it get stuck on this screen that says "Setting up Google Drive for Desktop, Google Drive is loading your files" and it just wouldn't stop.


I have tried uninstalling, tried deleting DriveFS, restarting... none works.

Tried syncing personal account instead of vs google account.. doesn't matter which one, it just get stuck in that sync mode.


Help! Anyone has any idea?

If those don’t help, can you say if this happens on any other Apple devices? If this occurs on another network? If this occurs in a new user account on your Mac?
