can I upgrade my OS mac high sierra 10.13.6 to Monterey 12 ?

You can upgrade to Mojave (10.14.*) or Catalina (10.15.*). For that iMac, Catalina is the end of the line.

In case you're running into issues with your version of Safari being too old …


If you upgrade to Catalina, you can run the current version of Firefox:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/


If you remain on High Sierra, or upgrade to Mojave, you can run Firefox 115 ESR. It isn't getting new features any more, but Mozilla says they will provide "critical security updates" for it until September 2024.
