Connect your iPhone to iTunes and in the Info Tab of iTunes, tick the Sync Address Book Contacts and then at the bottom right of the Info Tab window click on Apply.

Allow the phone to sync to itunes with the contacts.

Once complete, un-tick the Sync Address Book Contacts and when you do, you will receive a new box asking if you want to remove the contacts.

Click on Remove Contacts and again at the bottom right of the Info Tab window click on Apply.

Allow phone to sync with iTunes again.

Contacts should now be deleted from the iPhone.

Hope this helps
