My mike on airpods work when I use it for voice memos, video calls,etc but doesn’t work for In game party chat. Is there any workaround for this?

Wondering if the iPhone receives the audio.
Eg: You may need to give the game app permission to access your microphone. Check iPhone's Privacy settings
