Dark and Blurry Selfies on iPhone 15 Pro Max

Yes, I faced the exact same issue. I bought 15 pro max a few days ago. All the selfies I took came out terrible. My old Iphone XS Max used to take way better selfies. If apple doesn’t fix the issue, I am gonna switch it for Samsung S23 ultra.

I am facing the same issue.I just bought the ph yesterday and since then I have been trying to change the camera settings in order to get good selfies.but nothing is working.my previous Iphone 11 was 1000 times better in terms of selfies.I really don't know what to do now .

I was willing to give it some time and try a few different settings to try to improve the selfie camera’s performance, but nothing helps. This is honestly ridiculous for such an expensive device (iPhone 15 Pro Max) that was literally touted for its upgraded camera performance. GET IT TOGETHER, APPLE. Really missing the days when your stuff used to just … work.

Same for me… I am so disappointed, I waited for a long time to upgrade to the iPhone 15 Pro Max and this phone has ridiculously awful camera for the price we are asked to pay! I cannot take a decent photo - regardless if with the selfie or the main camera. I tried following tutorials, changing the settings, the light, cleaning the camera… nothing worked, nothing helped.

I wonder how much is Apple paying to all of those who review the cameras as a “beast” for the cell phone industry. Or, is the camera a beast only for professional photographers? If I need three courses and 100 edits to get a decent photo of the nature around me or of my friends - thanks, no. So so so disappointed! 😭

I just got my I phone 15 pro and I am not able to take any selfies in the dark I talk to Apple 2 times this last one ask why I would take a selfie in the dark ? Crazy question …. Then he says the front doesn’t have a flash but I don’t believe it either way I have an appointment at Apple on Thursday and if they tell me same thing going back to my 13 Pro ( Ridiculous) upset about this whole situation a new phone has a less option for selfies doesn’t make no sense

Omg omg omg im shocked i just bought my iPhone 15 pro max just for the camera and guess what ? Its a total scam the selfie camera is TERRIBLE, my old iPhone 11 was moooore better , i hope this problem can be fixed cuz im gonna return this phone , im not buying a 1500euros phone to get this

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max with 256GB. The problem I am facing is that my camera behaves strangely in light or with any bulb. It won't focus properly on light sources or bulb-like objects. I want it to be more subtle.

I have the l same problem with front camera, Im so frustrated Im stuck with the Iphone 15 Im praying that they fix this issue in the next’s update, same the thing with pack camera if you zoom into a face, it gets blurry and a filter atomically get put on it, pleas apple fix this soon.

Same here, I just bought an iPhone 15 Pro but its selfie camera is very grainy and dark It seems like my face has a grayish tone, I look like im sick. Apple, I hope you can fix this selfie camera issue.

Same here!! I thought I am the only one. I have iphone 11 and it takes better selfies. Is this an error? I hope apple can fix this. Such a disappointment 😭

Does apple already fix this issue? I still encounter this and I cannot find any solution. I already contact a support but they also don't know what to do
