Update to pages 12.1 using monterey os 12.7.1

I read that Pages 12.1 would operate on MacOS Big Sur or later. I have Monterey 12.0 and am updating to 12.1.7, however, the latest version of Pages I have is 12.0. I've looked on the AppStore for updates and none are shown. How do I update to Pages 12.1?

The current version of Pages (v13.2) requires macOS Ventura or later for installation. Apple does not maintain past full installers of Pages for user download.

Launch the Mac App Store on Monterey, and log in with the same Apple ID as you used for the previous installation. Press cmd+0 (zero) to open the Purchased panel, and if Pages is there with a blue cloud download icon, select that. A dialog may then offer to install the last compatible version (13.1) of Pages for Monterey.

Pages in the Mac App Store (v13.2) currently requires macOS 13.0 or later. You can get Pages v13.1 from the Mac App Store for Monterey 12.7.1 only if you had personally installed Pages from the Mac App Store since Oct 2013.

If you satisfy the first paragraph, then launch the Mac App Store and sign in with the identical Apple ID that you used to previously install Pages. Press cmd+0 (zero) to open the purchased panel. You should see a Pages entry with blue cloud/down-arrow. Select that and do not click Cancel on any subsequent dialog. It will ask you if you want to install the last compatible version of Pages for Monterey, and choosing that will get you up to Pages v13.1.
