changing time font on lock screen

This has been a headache on the iPhone but now seems to be impossible to correct on the MacBook Pro

Ugly time font on iPad lock screen My iPad mini just updated to 16.3.1. The font for the time on the Lock Screen is so obviously too big and chunky and completely at odds with elegant Apple typography. Surely Apple must be going to fix this blunder. To be honest it offends. OK that’s got that off my chest. If anyone knows a way of correcting this or just getting rid of the clock or the Lock Screen altogether that would be great.

If you are running Sonoma you can turn the clock off in System Settings > Lock Screen. If not, I don't know what clock you re referring to.
